National Trails Day!

Every year the American Hiking Society (AHS) hosts a National Trail Day which, they hope, will drag more people off their chairs and into the woods. I think it works. I saw more people that were asking general hiking questions today than I ever do which would lead me to believe that this was a first time experience.
My favorite question today, by the way, was “We have to go up that?!”
Me? I use this as, yet, another excuse to hit a trail.
Blue white trail becomes blue red I went to Bigelow Hollow and walked a bunch. 13 miles to be exact. I hit the blue and white trail and the ex blue and white trail (now blue and red) the blue and orange trail and the white trail.

Had a great day, met one of the guys from CFPA and got to watch a lost guy get found and sent on his way.
Oh, I also scared a groundhog and found some fungus! All this while a few towns below me it was raining. Overall a great day.
